2026 Black History Month
We had a wonderful festival to celebrate Black History Month! There were many activities hosted by our middle school students: a story time, dance lesson, game station, and arts and crafts table, all intended to introduce the rest of the student body to important traditions and major figures in Black history. A few of our 8th graders even brought some of those major figures to life by dressing up, getting into character, and giving short speeches in a live "wax museum." It was a fun, informative, and festive way to remind us that, though the month may end, our celebration of and respect for Black history must not!
