Education is a great need in our community.

The high school drop-out rate in our zip code is 28%, and only 9% of community members have a 4-year college degree or higher, which is the second lowest rate in the city by zip code.

According to the neighborhood elementary school's 2024 PSSA results, only 8% of the students were proficient in math and 17% were proficient in English Language Arts.

According to the neighborhood middle school's 2024 PSSA results, 0% of the students were proficient in math and 11% were proficient in English Language Arts.

There is also a great spiritual need in our community.

Our district has one of the highest homicide rates in the city.  The 19140 zip code also has a high rate of domestic violence, drugs, and prostitution.
