2023 Hispanic Heritage Festival

In order to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, our Dean of Students (and alumnus of HPCA), Randy Caro, organized a festival to celebrate different Latino cultures. Students dressed in traditional clothes and colors representing different Latin-American and Caribbean countries, and many parents volunteered to bring in food from their own countries of origin for students to sample. Our younger grades also got to join in "cooking" some food, making their own empanadas out of model clay, while the older grades made a tambora (Dominican drum) out of a plastic container. Take a closer look in the photos below. What a gift to belong to the family of God that represents so many different nations!
