Support Hunting Park Christian Academy and get holiday shopping done at the same time!
We’re so excited to kick off our Yankee Candle fundraiser, and the Fall/Holiday catalog has some great autumn and wintery scented candles, decorative items and wrapping paper! Here’s how you can join us:
1) Submit an order through your favorite HPCA student! The sale begins September 25th. Deadline for in-person orders is Monday, October 9, 2017. Orders will be delivered to HPCA and we will contact you for pickup.
2) Shop online at Yankee Candles. The website has more items than the in-person flyer -- be sure to check out the online catalog! Scroll down to "Start Shopping," enter our group number #990102963 and begin shopping. Items will ship directly to you!
HPCA receives 40% of the purchase price from the Student Fundraiser or Online sales. That’s $8 for each medium candle.
The online store will remain open through January 10, 2018. Thank you for your support!
Career Day is coming up on Wednesday, November 29th and we are seeking presenters to share with our middle-school students. We consider this event to be one of the most important days of the year for our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. The purpose of this day is to expose our students to different career possibilities while also demonstrating the need to seek the will of God in this decision-making process.
Presenters would have time to share with each middle school class about their career and how God led them to where they are today. They also have the opportunity to attend our weekly chapel and visit other classrooms on a school tour.
If you are interested in volunteering to serve as a guest presenter, please contact Jen Deane for more information. You would need to be available on Wednesday, November 29th, from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm.
